Cordulus launches next-generation rain forecasting model tailored to European farmers
Cordulus, a leader in AI-powered weather forecasting, has unveiled its newest rain prediction model, setting a new benchmark for accuracy in weather forecasting.
The company’s cutting-edge AI model, trained on more than 8 million real-world rainfall events across Europe, delivers forecasts that are 52% more accurate than traditional forecasts. “Weather data is important, especially now when it is becoming so unpredictable. It is crucial for sowing and spraying properly. Most people have gut feelings about the weather and its impact on their fields, but it’s too vague,” says Karsten Snitkjær, a Danish farmer who has seen firsthand the benefits of accurate forecasting.
Cordulus’ AI-driven model updates every 10 minutes, providing farmers with precise, real-time insights on when, where, and how much rain to expect. This level of accuracy allows for better planning in critical agricultural activities such as irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
